Dwain Lockhart Killed in Waco Pedestrian Accident on N. 26th

Waco, Texas (October 8, 2019) – A man was killed early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Waco, according to the police.

The accident was reported around 12:30 a.m. in the 700 block of N. 26th.

Police said Dwain Earl Lockhart, 61, was walking in the area when he was hit by a vehicle.

The involved driver fled the scene after the accident.

Lockhart was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The police are looking for the suspect.
