Man Hit, Killed by Semi-Truck on U.S. 287 in Moore County

50-Year-Old Man Killed in Moore County Pedestrian Accident on U.S. 287 near Dumas

Moore County, Texas (September 24, 2020) – A 50-year-old man was fatally hit by a semi-truck early Thursday morning in Moore County, around five miles south of Dumas, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened around 12:30 a.m., on U.S. 287.

According to a preliminary investigation, the man was crossing the roadway when he was struck by a semi-truck.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
