One Killed and One Seriously Injured in Texarkana Two-Vehicle Crash on Summerhill Road
Texarkana, Texas (July 28, 2020) – A woman was killed, and a man was seriously injured in a head-on collision Tuesday morning in Texarkana, according to police.
The fatal crash happened at about 11:00 a.m., on Summerhill Road.
Police said a woman in her 20s was driving a grey Ford Focus northbound when she drifted into the southbound lane and collided head-on into a GMC pickup truck.
The woman was declared dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The GMC driver, a 61-year-old man, was taken to CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
