1 Killed, 3 Injured in Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Lamar Blvd in North Austin

One Killed and Three Injured in North Austin Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Lamar Boulevard

Austin, Texas (August 29, 2023) – One person was killed, and three others were injured early Sunday morning in an auto-pedestrian accident in North Austin, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened around 3:42 a.m., August 27, in the 9900 block of N Lamar Boulevard near the InTown Suites-Extended Stay.

Officials said several people were involved in an auto-pedestrian accident.

An adult was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Two adults were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. A third person was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.

A fourth adult was evaluated at the scene for minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
