7 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash at Oldham Lane and ES 11th Street in Abilene

Pregnant Woman Among Seven Injured in Abilene Crash at Oldham Lane and ES 11th Street

Abilene, Texas (October 20, 2023) – Seven people, including a pregnant woman, was among seven people injured in a three-vehicle crash on Friday in South Abilene, according to Abilene Police.

The crash happened just before noon at the intersection of Oldham Lane and ES 11th Street.

Police said a white car was traveling in the area when the driver allegedly run a red light at the intersection of Oldham Lane and ES 11th Street  and hit another vehicle, which then spun out, struck a third vehicle.

A pregnant woman and another woman were transported to a local hospital. Police said there were three occupants in the first vehicle, and two each in the other two vehicles.

All three occupants of the vehicle that run a red light were injured in the crash.

Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
