1 Killed in Crash on I-20 in Duncanville

One Killed in Duncanville Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 and Cedar Ridge Drive

Duncanville, Texas – One person was killed Wednesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in Duncanville, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened on February 7, at eastbound I-20 and Cedar Ridge Drive.

Police said two wreckers were on the right shoulder of the highway preparing to tow a car when a FedEx truck started to pass a car in the right lane and hit the wreckers and the car, causing the tow truck drivers to be pinned under the wreckage. 

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
