1 Seriously Injured in Highway 71 Accident
Brady, Texas (May 1, 2019) – A person was hospitalized Tuesday morning after a head-on crash near Brady, according to a local news report.
The wreck was reported at about 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 30 on Highway 71 and FM 2309
As per the report, a passenger vehicle was traveling in the opposite lane on the two-lane highway when it collided head-on with a semi-truck. The semi-truck then burst into flames after the impact.
The driver of the passenger vehicle had to be extricated from the wreckage. The victim was then transported to the Heart of Texas hospital with incapacitating injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
