Armando Garcia-Sanchez Killed in NE Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on Tuscany Way near U.S. 290

Austin, Texas (March 30, 2021) – The man who was killed Thursday evening in a two-vehicle crash, involving a semi-truck, in Northeast Austin has been identified as Armando Garcia-Sanchez, 28, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 6:30 p.m., March 25, in the 9000 block of Tuscany Way, north of U.S. 290.

Police said Armando Garcia-Sanchez, 28, was driving a brown 2013 Honda Pilot when he collided with an orange 2009 Volvo semi-truck.

Garcia-Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi-truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information about the crash is asked to call APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit Detectives at (512) 974-4424.
