Donald Kelly Killed in Joshua Golf Cart Crash on Royalwood Circle near CR 803

Joshua, Texas (March 27, 2021) – According to the Texas DPS, a man was killed Thursday afternoon in a golf cart crash in Joshua.

The deadly accident happened around 1:33 p.m., March 25, on Royalwood Circle, east of County Road 803.

DPS said a Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling eastbound while a golf cart was traveling westbound.

For unknown reasons, the Chevrolet crossed into the westbound lane and crashed into the golf cart.

The golf cart driver, Donald Kelly, 69, of Joshua, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Chevrolet driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
