One Person Dies in San Antonio Traffic Crash on I-10 West and Loop 1604
San Antonio, Texas (June 25, 2019) – A traffic crash involving two vehicles left one person dead on San Antonio’s Northeast Side Monday night, according to San Antonio police.
The crash took place on I-10 West and Loop 1604 at about 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 24.
According to a preliminary investigation, an 18-wheeler crashed into a pickup truck that was slowing down for traffic on the highway.
The pickup driver, whose identity was not immediately released, died as the site of the collision. A passenger in the truck was injured and was taken to a hospital.
The San Antonio Police Department is investigating the collision.
