 12-Year-Old Mexican Girl Hit, Killed by Truck on Loop 375 in El Paso

12-Year-Old Mexican Girl Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Loop 375

El Paso, Texas (November 28, 2022) – A 12-year-old Mexican girl was killed Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in El Paso’s Lower Valley, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 5:52 p.m., November 26, in the westbound lanes of Loop 375 (the César Chávez Border Highway) near Fonseca Drive.

Police said a 49-year-old El Paso man was driving a 2009 Ford F-250 when he hit the girl and her 27-year-old mother, both from Hidalgo, Mexico, who were attempting to cross the westbound lanes of the highway.

The girl was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her name has not been released.

The mother did not sustain any visible injuries.

The crash closed the highway near Midway Drive in the Riverside area.

The police are investigating the crash.
