One Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Spur 601

El Paso, Texas – A person was fatally hit by a vehicle Thursday morning in El Paso, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred just before 6:00 a.m., on Spur 601.

Police said a person died after being hit by a vehicle. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Further details were not available.

The crash closed all the eastbound lanes of the Spur 601 at Chaffee Road.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
