Child Hit, Injured by Construction Vehicle at Lovely RV Park in Hunt County

2-Year-Old Boy Critically Injured in Hunt County Pedestrian Accident at Lovely RV Park

Hunt County, Texas (April 25, 2022) – A child was critically injured after being struck by a construction vehicle in Hunt County on Tuesday, authorities said.

The crash took place at the Lovely RV Park in West Tawakoni on Tuesday, April 19.

According to the authorities, the 2-year-old boy was walking in the area when an earth mover called a skid steer hit him.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and performed CRP on the child. He was then taken to Hunt Regional and later airlifted to Dallas Medical City.

Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
