Daniel Martinez ID’d as Driver Killed in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on Southeast Drive

Lubbock, Texas (December 13, 2019) – The driver who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Lubbock has been identified as 39-year-old Daniel Martinez, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 5:45 a.m. December 12, in the 3800 block of Southeast drive.

Police said a Dodge Ram 1500 was traveling southeast on Southeast Drive when it drove into the center turn lane to turn left into a business driveway and was struck by another pick-up truck.

Martinez, who was driving the Dodge, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash.
