Jimmy Cain Killed in Parker County Motorcycle Accident on State Highway 171 near Doyle Road

Parker County, Texas (September 14, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on crash Thursday morning in Parker County, authorities said.

The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. September 12, on State Highway 171, just south of Doyle Road.

DPS said Jimmy Cain, 63, was riding a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on the highway when he collided head-on with a northbound blue 2004 Peterbilt truck tractor with a black 2007 Etnyre tractor-trailer.

Cain was declared dead at the scene.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
