Tammy Jo Mahon ID’d as Woman Killed in Tyler Two-Vehicle Crash on Chandler Highway

Tyler, Texas (February 1, 2020) – The woman who was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Tyler has been identified as Tammy Jo Mahon, 48, of Chandler, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened at about 4:35 p.m. January 30, in the 4700 block of Chandler Highway.

Police said Mahon was driving a pickup westbound on the highway when her vehicle was struck by another westbound vehicle.

The impact caused the truck to exit the roadway and roll, partially ejecting Mahon.

Mahon was killed in the crash.

Two occupants in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
