Man Hospitalized after Corpus Christi Car Accident on South Padre Island Drive near Flour Bluff

Corpus Christi, Texas (July 24, 2019) – A man was hospitalized Monday after a traffic accident in Corpus Christi, according to a local news source.

The wreck happened on South Padre Island Drive near Flour Bluff Monday, July 22.

As per the report, a white pickup truck was reportedly traveling down South Padre Island Drive at a high rate of speed when the driver tried to pass a city bus but ended up colliding with it.

The force of the impact caused the pickup truck to roll over down the roadway and pinned the driver inside.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated the driver from their vehicle. The patient was then taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.
