Nikeya Sherrod Crumb Arrested For Hit-And-Run Accident on Scott Boulevard in Temple

Nikeya Sherrod Crumb Arrested after Temple Pedestrian Accident That Killed Mario Arriaga on Scott Boulevard
Temple, Texas (May 14, 2019) – The hit-and-run driver who caused a traffic accident that killed a pedestrian March in Temple has been arrested, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident was reported at around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 in the 1500 block of Scott Boulevard.
The officers found the victim lying in the roadway in the location. The man, who was later identified as Mario Arriaga, 54, of Temple, was rushed to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene after the accident.  The suspect, identified as Nikeya Sherrod Crumb, 18, turned himself into police on Monday, May 13.
Crumb was arrested and is being charged with accident involving serious bodily injury or death/failure to stop and render aid and tampering/fabricating physical evidence.
The crash remains under investigation.
