1 Airlifted in Multi-Vehicle Crash at State Highway 249 and FM 1774 in Plantersville
Plantersville, TX. - One person was airlifted to hospital after being injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon in Plantersville.
According to the Plantersville Police Department, the accident occurred on State Highway 249 at FM 1774 at around 3:25 p.m.
A GMC 1500 towing a trailer was traveling northbound on SH 249 when it crossed into the southbound lanes and clipped the mirror of a Nissan Pathfinder.
The GMC continued northbound and struck a Chevrolet 2500 towing a trailer, a Honda Fit and a Dodge van.
The driver of the GMC was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital. The victim's condition was deemed critical.
Additional details regarding the collision were not released by law enforcement.
The Grimes County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
