1 Killed in Corpus Christi Pedestrian Accident on Leopard Street

Corpus Christi, TX – One person was killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in Corpus Christi, according to the police.

The deadly accident was reported just after 10:00 p.m. on June 10 in the 4300 block of Leopard Street.

Police said the pedestrian was walking southbound across the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.

The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident and was found to be not at fault.

The police are investigating the accident.
