1 Injured in Alvarado Pedestrian Accident on I-35W near County Road 401
Alvarado, TX. - A construction worker was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Friday afternoon in Alvarado.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred on I-35W near County Road 401 at around 1 p.m.
A big rig reportedly left the roadway and struck a construction worker in the area.
The truck then hit the center median before coming to rest across the southbound lanes.
The worker sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital.
More details on the collision were not provided.
