1 Injured in Arlington Car Crash at Cooper Street and Park Row Drive
Arlington, TX. - An Arlington police officer and a K9 were injured in a crash involving a patrol vehicle on Friday afternoon in Arlington.
According to the Arlington Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of Cooper Street and Park Row Drive at around 5:40 p.m.
A patrol vehicle was traveling southbound on Cooper Street when the officer turned on the siren and collided with another vehicle attempting to turn left onto Cooper Street.
The impact caused the patrol vehicle to crash into another car stopped in the northbound lanes.
The officer and a K9 sustained minor injuries and were expected to recover.
No additional details on the collision were released.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
