1 Injured in Arlington Car Crash on I-20 near Texas 360
Arlington, TX. - At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday in Arlington.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened in the 2400 block of I-20 near the Texas 360 interchange.
The driver of a Hyundai Genesis reportedly fell asleep while driving and struck a police vehicle parked in a construction zone before it striking another vehicle.
One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai was cited for failure to control speed.
No additional details about the accident were provided.
The Amarillo Police Department is investigating the crash.
