1 Injured in Early Pedestrian Accident on Early Boulevard

Early, TX. - A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday morning in Early.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened in the 1700 block of Early Boulevard at around 5:18 a.m.

The 18-wheeler struck the pedestrian who was walking in the traffic lane. The driver said he tried to avoid contact after seeing the pedestrian at the last moment.

The pedestrian was airlifted to a trauma center in Fort Worth in unknown condition.

More information about the accident was not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
