1 Injured in Houston Crash at Beamer Road and FM 2351

Houston, TX. - One person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday morning in Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, the accident occurred at Beamer Road and FM 2351 at around 7 a.m.

Robert Lewis was waiting at a red light when he was struck by another vehicle, resulting in a chain reaction crash. Several vehicles were heavily damaged.

Paramedics transported one man to hospital with unknown injuries.

The suspect accused of causing the crash got out of the vehicle and fled the scene but was later arrested.

There were no signs of the suspect using his brakes prior to the crash.

More details on the collision were not available.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
