1 Injured in Houston Crash at Hogan Street and North Main Street
Houston, TX. - One person was injured in a crash involving a METRORail train and fire department vehicle on Friday evening in Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the collision occurred in the area of Hogan Street and North Main Street at around 6:50 p.m.
The Houston Fire Department Engine 9 was responding to a call with lights and sirens when it was struck by a light rail, resulting in a derailment.
A passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
More details about the crash were not provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
