1 Injured in Jasper County E-Bike Accident at Recreational Road 255 and U.S. Highway 96
Jasper County, TX. - A man riding an e-bike was injured after being struck by an SUV on Sunday evening in Jasper.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at Recreational Road 255 and U.S. Highway 96 near Lake Sam Rayburn at around 7 p.m.
The victim was riding an e-bike eastbound when he collided with an SUV.
The rider fell from the bicycle and CPR was administered at the scene.
The cyclist was transported by an ambulance to a helipad at the Rayburn Clinic, where he was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.
More details on the accident were not provided.
The Jasper County Sheriff Office is investigating the accident.
