1 Injured in Lubbock Scooter Accident on Avenue U
Lubbock, TX. - A scooter rider was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday evening in Lubbock.
According to the Lubbock Police Department, the accident happened in the 9800 block of Avenue U at around 7:32 p.m.
The scooter rider was struck by an SUV in unclear circumstances.
The rider was rushed to UMC with serious injuries.
More details on the collision were not released.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
