1 Injured in San Antonio Crash at North Loop 1604 W and Bandera Road
San Antonio, TX. - One person was injured in a suspected DUI crash on Saturday morning in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of North Loop 1604 West and Bandera Road at around 1:26 a.m.
A 29-year-old woman was driving a vehicle westbound on Bandera Road when it was struck by a gray Ford Bronco that reportedly ran a red light.
The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Ford Bronco was evaluated at the scene for signs of intoxication and was arrested and booked on intoxication assault charges.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
