1 Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Accident on Basse Road near Buckeye Avenue
San Antonio, TX. - A motorcyclist was injured in a suspected DUI crash on Friday afternoon in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident occurred in the 2300 block of Basse Road near Buckeye Avenue at around 4:57 p.m.
An Acura was traveling southbound on Buckeye when it entered the roadway and crossed into the path of a motorcycle that was traveling eastbound on Basse Road.
The motorcyclist struck the passenger side of the car and was ejected from the bike.
The 28-year-old motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Acura fled the scene but was later located, arrested and booked on a charge related to driving while intoxicated.
More details on the crash were not provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
