1 Injured in Texarkana Bicycle Accident at W. 6th Street and Lake Drive
Texarkana, TX. - A bicyclist was seriously injured in a collision on Tuesday morning in Texarkana.
According to the Texarkana Police Department, the accident happened at W.6th Street and Lake Drive just before noon.
The 49-year-old man was riding a bicycle westbound on W. 6th Street when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection.
The man suffered a concussion and was rushed to Christus St. Michael Hospital.
More information on the accident was not released.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
