1 Killed in Amarillo Crash at Irvin Road and St. Francis Avenue
Amarillo, TX. - One driver was tragically killed in a collision on Saturday night in Amarillo.
The fatal crash occurred in the area of Irvin Road and St. Francis Avenue at around 10 p.m., according to the Amarillo Police Department.
A Dodge pickup truck was heading westbound on St. Francis Avenue when it hit the rear of a Toyota sedan.
The Toyota sedan left the roadway after the impact, while the Dodge pickup truck continued westbound, veered off the roadway and overturned.
The driver of the Dodge succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
More details on the crash were not immediately available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
