1 Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident at SH-130 and Tesla Road

Austin, TX. - A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Austin.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on southbound SH-130 at the Tesla Road ramp at around 4 a.m.

A pedestrian was walking in the area and was struck by a car.

Paramedics pronounced the unidentified pedestrian dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

The Austin Police Department is investigating the fatal accident.
