1 Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on North Lamar Boulevard
Austin, TX. - A woman died after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night in Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, the accident happened in the 8500 block of North Lamar Boulevard at around 11:18 p.m.
The woman was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
The emergency responders attempted to offer life-saving measures to the pedestrian, but the pedestrian died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details on the collision were not available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
