1 Killed in Beaumont Car Crash on Texas Highway 105 at Tram Rd

Beaumont, TX. – A 41-year-old man was killed after a head-on crash on Tuesday morning in Beaumont.

The fatal crash occurred on Texas Highway 105 near Tram Road at around 4 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

A Toyota 4-Runner driven by the 41-year-old man was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line into the eastbound lane of travel for unknown reasons and collided head-on with an oncoming Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 31-year-old man.

The driver of the Toyota 4-Runner succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The driver of the Chevrolet sustained serious injuries and was transported to a Beaumont hospital for treatment.

More details on the collision were not provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
