1 Killed in Corpus Christi Crash at State Highway 44 and County Road 338
Corpus Christi, TX. - A man was killed in a rear-end collision on Wednesday evening in Corpus Christi.
According to the Texas Department, the accident occurred at State Highway 44 and County Road 338 at around 8:10 p.m.
A 2002 GMC 1500 was traveling westbound on SH 44 when it stopped to make a left turn onto C.R. 338 and was struck from behind by a westbound 2018 Chevrolet Silverado.
The driver of the GMC 1500 succumbed to his injuries despite life-saving measures.
The male passengers of the GMC 1500, ages 27 and 36, were injured and were taken to Christus Spohn Hospital.
More details on the crash were not available.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
