1 Killed in Corpus Christi Pedestrian Accident on Kostoryz Road

Corpus Christi, TX. - A 60-year-old man died after being struck by two vehicles on Friday morning in Corpus Christi.

The fatal accident occurred in the 4300 block of Kostoryz Road at around 6:30 a.m., according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.

The man was crossing Kostoryz Road when he was struck by a car. The man was thrown into the northbound lanes due to the impact, where he was struck by a second vehicle.

The pedestrian was found lying on the street and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

More information on the accident was not disclosed.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
