1 Killed in Dallas Crash on Interstate 20 near Westmoreland Street
Dallas, TX. - One person was killed in a car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Dallas.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred on Interstate 20 near Westmoreland Street at around 4 p.m.
A vehicle reportedly crashed into the rear of a parked 18-wheeler.
Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car dead at the scene.
It remains unclear if speed or drugs played a role in the crash.
More details on the crash were not immediately available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
