1 Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident at Maple Avenue and Lucas Drive
Dallas, TX. - A man died after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night in Dallas.
According to the Dallas Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Lucas Drive at around 11:30 p.m.
A man was reportedly crossing the street when he was struck by an SUV traveling southbound on Maple Avenue. The man was thrown into a Waymo.
The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the first vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Waymo also stopped at the scene. They're in touch with the officials.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
