1 Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on Ben Day Murrin Road

Fort Worth, TX. – A man died after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night in Fort Worth.

The fatal collision occurred in the 7800 block of Ben Day Murrin Road at around 9 p.m., according to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.

The man was walking on the edge of the road and was struck by an SUV.

The pedestrian was found lying on the road unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS paramedics.

The name of the deceased pedestrian was not immediately disclosed.

More details on the accident were not available.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
