1 Killed in Galveston County Crash at I-45 South and 71st Street
Galveston County, TX. - A man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash that left two children injured on Friday morning in Galveston County.
The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of I-45 South and 71st Street at around 11:47 a.m., according to the Galveston Police Department.
A truck, a sports car and an SUV were involved in the collision. The truck was reportedly speeding before the crash.
Paramedics pronounced the driver of the sports car dead at the scene.
Two children were injured and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
More information about the collision was not provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
