1 Killed in Garland Bicycle Accident on Broadway Boulevard
Garland, TX. - A bicyclist died after being struck by a car on Saturday evening in Garland.
According to the Garland Police Department, the accident occurred in the 5400 block of Broadway Boulevard at around 5 p.m.
A vehicle was traveling southbound on Broadway when it struck a bicyclist attempting to cross the street.
The bicyclist fell off the bicycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name and details of the deceased were not disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More information concerning the collision was not provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
