1 Killed in Houston Crash at Dorsett Drive and Pillot Street

Houston, TX. - One person was killed in a fiery crash on Sunday morning in Houston.

The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Dorsett Drive and Pillot Street at around 3:32 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

A car with a single occupant was traveling northbound on Dorsett Avenue when it slammed into a parked 18-wheeler.

The impact sent the car into the grassy area along the fence where it burst into flames.

Paramedics pronounced the car driver dead at the scene.

More details about the crash were not released.

The Houston Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
