1 Killed in Houston Crash at Telephone Road and Reveille Street
Houston, TX. - A woman was killed in a high-speed crash that left another person injured early Saturday morning in Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of Telephone Road and Reveille Street at around 1:40 a.m.
A woman was driving a car southbound on Reveille at a high rate of speed when she ran two red lights and struck another vehicle at the intersection.
Emergency responders attempted to offer life-saving measures to the woman, but she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
More details on the collision were not available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
