1 Killed in Houston Crash at W. Sam Houston Tollway and Westpark Tollway
Houston, TX. - One person died in a fiery car crash on Tuesday morning in Houston.
The fatal crash occurred on W. Sam Houston Tollway at Westpark Tollway near Westheimer at around 3:30 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department.
A Corvette was traveling at high speed when it lost control and struck a barrier wall. The Corvette then collided with an 18-wheeler and burst into flames.
The driver of the Corvette succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
