1 Killed in Live Oak County Pedestrian Accident on I-37

Live Oak County, TX. – A man died after being struck by a car on Tuesday morning in Live Oak County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on the southbound I-37 at around 5:10 a.m.

The man was walking in the inside lane when he was struck by a 2025 Toyota RAV4.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the SUV, a 38-year-old man from Three Rivers, remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
