1 Killed in Longview Car Crash on I-20 near Mile Marker 583
Longview, TX. – A man was killed in a collision involving an 18-wheeler on Friday morning in Longview.
According to the Gregg County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened on I-20 near mile marker 583 at around 1:15 a.m.
A Chevrolet Camaro was traveling westbound on I-20 when the driver failed to control his speed and struck the rear of the 18-wheeler.
The driver of the Chevrolet Camaro died at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
Additional information regarding the collision was not released.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
