1 Killed in Lynn County Crash at U.S. Highway 380 and CR HH
Lynn County, TX. - A 17-year-old girl was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday night in Lynn County.
According to the Lynn County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened on U.S. Highway 380 at CR HH at around 10 p.m.
Gilberto Torres, 44, was driving a Nissan Rogue eastbound on Highway 380 when he drifted into the opposite lane and collided with a westbound Ford Escape driven by 18-year-old Brylee Renteria.
A 17-year-old female passenger of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford and two passengers were transported to University Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The driver of the Nissan was also taken to UMC for treatment.
More details on the crash were not available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
