1 Killed in Martin County Truck Accident on Interstate 20 near Mile Marker 151
Martin County, TX. – A man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Friday morning in Martin County.
According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred on Interstate 20 near mile marker 151 around 151.
A 2022 Kenworth with a trailer was traveling eastbound on I-20 when it collided with a 2022 International LT that suffered a tire blowout while traveling westbound, causing it to drift into the eastbound lanes. A 2005 Kenworth traveling eastbound was also involved in the collision.
The driver of the 2022 Kenworth was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The other two drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment
More information on the collision was not released.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
