1 Killed in New Carney Crash on I-69 at FM 1485

New Carney, TX. - A driver died in a car crash early Wednesday morning in New Carney.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at around 4:45 a.m. on Interstate 69, south of FM 1485.

A Toyota passenger vehicle struck the median after losing control on the wet road and spun into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by a Ford F150 and a Toyota pickup truck.

The driver of the Toyota passenger vehicle succumbed to injuries at the scene.

The identity of the passenger vehicle was not disclosed.

Paramedics transported two people to the local hospital with undisclosed injuries.

More details about the accident were not released

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
